Methodology I base all my classes on a combination of the best scientific methodologies available and have a tendency to prefer the communicative language teaching methodology. However, I am definitely not dogmatic in my approach and I do not believe there is a single methodology that caterers for all students in all situations. My principal objective therefore is to adapt the course and methodology to the specific needs of the student and not vice versa. There are those students who only need to improve their conversation skills whilst for others it may be necessary to improve their written English etc. However, what is important is that from the very first class the student communicates in English and with this in mind I give all my classes completely in English trying to adapt the method and communication to best suit those situations which will confront the student in real life.
